Discover job openings, training resources and key insights in current and future CTA construction projects
The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) is hosting an event this Wednesday (12/4) to help connect job seekers with resources and information regarding future career opportunities in the construction trades and opportunities to work on future CTA projects.
Event attendees can connect with trade labor unions, workforce partners, and contractors in the construction industry to learn more about career resources, training, and job opportunities on CTA’s transformational projects, such as the Red Line Extension (RLE), the All Stations Accessible Program (ASAP), the Forest Park Blue Line Improvements, substation upgrades and more.
“This outreach event is about more than just connecting people with job opportunities; it’s about building a pipeline of diverse talent that reflects the vibrant communities we serve,” said JuanPablo Prieto, CTA Director of Diversity Programs. “Through partnerships with unions, contractors, and workforce organizations, we’re creating pathways to meaningful careers that contribute to the lasting economic growth of our neighborhoods.”
This event is the latest in a series of measures taken by the CTA to extend career opportunities and to help foster economic growth in the communities it serves:
