Detour for Northbound Austin Buses Will Continue through AprilViaduct reconstruction over Austin south of Lake Street will extend the detour of northbound #91 Austin buses through April. Until the work is completed, #91 buses will continue detouring northbound off Austin via Washington, Central and Lake back to Austin. Southbound service is not affected.
Extra Buses Serve United Center for Gaither Concert Friday Night#19 United Center Express buses will serve the United Center for the Gaither Homecoming concert at 7 p.m. Friday, March 30. #19 buses will operate every 12 minutes, starting two hours before the concert southbound on Michigan from Chicago. After stopping on Michigan at Illinois and Randolph, the buses turn west on Madison, making stops at State and Wells for riders transferring from subway and 'L' lines and at Clinton for Metra riders from the Ogilvie Transportation Center and Union Station. After the concert, buses will await riders eastbound on Madison near Gate 3 for return trips downtown and to Michigan at Chicago.
