EVENTS AFFECTING CTA SERVICE OVER THE WEEKEND OF SEPTEMBER 14 - 16

Blue Line Service to O'Hare Airport Has Been RestoredAs of noon Thursday, September 13, Blue Line trains have resumed serving O'Hare Airport. Service had been operating only to the station at Rosemont since the airport was closed to air traffic on Tuesday. Orange Line trains never stopped serving Midway Airport throughout this period since the rail terminal is outside the airport grounds.

Sewer Cleaning Affects Red Line Subway Early Sunday Sewer cleaning work will require Red Line trains to use a single track while serving subway stations at Clark/Division, Chicago/State and Grand/State from just after midnight until 8 a.m. early Sunday, September 16. During this time, trains will operate about every 20 minutes in both directions.

Track Work Affects Forest Park Branch Blue Line Trains Over WeekendTrack work on the Forest Park (Congress) branch of the Blue Line will require trains to use a single track while serving stations at Pulaski, Cicero and Austin from 10 p.m. Friday, September 14, until 2 a.m. Monday, September 17. During this period trains will operate every 20 minutes in both directions between Forest Park and UIC-Halsted, and every 10 minutes from O'Hare to UIC-Halsted.
