Railroad Crossing Work Closes 87th at Rockwell Starting Friday, October 25Reconstruction of a railroad crossing will close 87th at Rockwell from 5 a.m. Friday, October 25 through Wednesday, November 6. #87 87th buses will be detoured off 87th in both directions via Western, 83rd and California back to 87th.
Weekend Construction Closes California and Central Park from 19th to 21st Construction work will close California and Central Park between 19th and 21st from 12:01 a.m. Saturday, October 26 until 5 a.m. Monday, October 28. #94 South California buses will be detoured in both directions via Cermak, Marshall, Sacramento and Ogden to California. #82 Kimball/Homan buses will be detoured off Central Park via Cermak, Kedzie and 16th to Central Park.
North End of Red Line Affected by Track Work Saturday Morning Northbound Red Line trains will not stop at the Bryn Mawr, Thorndale and Granville stations Saturday, October 26 from 7 a.m. until noon due to track repairs. Southbound service will not be affected. Customers intending to board northbound trains at any of the stations should take a southbound train to Berwyn and change to a northbound train. Customers traveling north to those stations should remain on the train to Loyola and change to a southbound train that will serve each stop.
Construction Affects Brown Line at Armitage Sunday, October 27Construction at Ogden will require Brown Line trains to use a single track while serving the Armitage station throughout the day until 6 p.m. Sunday, October 27.
