Boarding Change, Delays Between LaSalle and Grand

How does this affect my trip?
Board/exit all trains on the Forest Park-bound side of the platform at the Jackson, Monroe, Washington, and Clark/Lake stations.

Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between LaSalle and Grand, resulting in minor delays.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
We are performing track maintenance to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the Blue Line.

 

 

PINK LINE

10pm to 4am next day

Trains Rerouted Downtown

How does this affect my trip?
Pink Line trains will operate counterclockwise on the Outer Loop.

Board/exit Pink Line trains on the Brown Line platform at all Loop stations.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
We are performing track maintenance to ensure that trains continue to operate safely on the Loop Elevated.

Boarding Change, Delays Between Ashland and the Loop

How does this affect my trip?
10pm Wed to 4am Thu:
Board/exit all trains on the Harlem- and 54th/Cermak-bound platform at the Ashland and Morgan stations.

10pm Thu to 4am Fri: Board/exit all trains on the Ashland/63rd-Cottage Grove and Loop-bound platform at the Clinton, Morgan and Ashland stations.

Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Ashland and the Loop.

Why is service being changed?
We are making power upgrades to allow trains to operate more efficiently along the Green and Pink Lines.

 

Bus Routes

#31 31st Temporary Reroute

May 6 – 7
9am Mon to 3:30pm Tue

How does this affect my trip?
Westbound
buses will operate via 31st, Wentworth, 35th, and Wallace, then resume their normal route on 31st.

Eastbound buses will operate via 31st, and Wallace, and 35th to Wentworth, then continue their normal route on 35th.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
Buses are rerouted due to construction on 31st at Canal.

 

#60 Blue Island/26th Temporary Reroute

9am, Mon, May 6 to 4pm, Sat, Jun 15 or completion

How does this affect my trip?
Eastbound
buses will operate via Michigan, and Wacker, then end their trips Columbus/Randolph.

Westbound buses will begin their trips at Columbus/Randolph, operate via Randolph, then resume their normal route on Michigan.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
Buses are rerouted due to construction on Harbor Drive.

 

#66 Chicago Temporary Reroute

Wed, May 1 until further notice

How does this affect my trip?
Eastbound buses will operate via the Austin/Chicago bus terminal, Austin, Augusta, and Central, then resume their normal route on Chicago.

Westbound buses are not affected.

Why is service being changed?

Buses are rerouted due to construction.

 

#86 Narragansett/Ridgeland Temporary Reroute

May 6 – 8
9am Mon to 5pm Wed or completion

How does this affect my trip?
Northbound
buses will end their trips at Nagle/Haft.

Southbound buses will begin their trips at Nagle/Haft, operate via Nagle, Milwaukee, and Raven, then resume their normal route on Nagle.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
Buses are rerouted due to maintenance at the Milwaukee/Imlay bus terminal.
